Terms & Conditions of Sale

These Terms & Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the sale of products on the Back-Door Bottega online store (the “Site”), operated by BackDoor Srl, Piazza Galilei 3/A, 40123 Bologna (BO), Italy — VAT no. 02749051203 (the “Seller”, “we”, “us”). Contact: info@back-door.it. These Terms apply to purchases made by consumers as defined by Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code). By creating an account and/or placing an order you confirm you have read and accept these Terms in full.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your credentials secure. Authentication is handled via our secure single sign-on; you must accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy to create an account. You may be asked to confirm acceptance again at checkout.

All products sold are 100% authentic. Product images and descriptions are as accurate as possible; slight differences in colour may occur depending on your screen. Availability is shown on each product page and may change at any time without notice.

Prices are shown in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs, when due, are shown at checkout before you confirm the order. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price applied is the one displayed at the moment the order is placed. In the event of an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.

An order placed through the Site constitutes a binding purchase proposal. The sales contract is concluded when we send you an order confirmation by e-mail. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of product unavailability, pricing/description errors, or suspected fraud; in such cases any amount already paid is refunded.

Payments are processed via PayPal, which also allows payment by card and, where available, in instalments. We do not accept bank transfer. Your order is processed once payment is successfully captured. Payment data is handled by the payment provider; we do not store card details.

Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout and on the Shipping page. You may also choose free in-store pickup at our Bologna store where available. Risk of loss and damage passes to you (or a third party you designate, other than the carrier) upon delivery.

For purchases made online, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, in accordance with the Consumer Code. To exercise it, notify us at info@back-door.it and return the item in its original, unused condition with tags and packaging, following our Returns & Exchanges policy.

• Return shipping is at the customer's expense — we do not provide a free return label (except where the return is due to our error or a defective/non-conforming product).
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, once the returned item has been received and checked.
• Size changes are handled as a return with refund: if you need a different size we recommend placing a new order for the desired size right away. Shipping costs are not refunded.
• This online withdrawal/return right does not apply to in-store purchases: items bought in store are eligible only for exchange or a store-credit voucher for the value of the product — no refund is issued for in-store purchases.

Products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for consumers (Consumer Code, arts. 128 ff.) for defects existing at delivery and manifesting within the term set by law. For defective or non-conforming products, contact us at info@back-door.it; reasonable return costs for a proven defect are borne by us.

All content on this Site (logos, images, texts, graphics) is protected and may not be reproduced or used without our prior written consent. Brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the consumer’s country of habitual residence remain unaffected. For consumer disputes you may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The competent court is that of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile, where mandatory.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the moment your order is placed applies to that order. Material changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
